Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, managing communications, and enhancing the brand visibility of Flytime Promotions.


Responsibilities

Event Promotion:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Flytime Promotion’s live events, concerts, festivals, conferences, or other productions.

Utilize various channels, including digital marketing, social media, traditional advertising, and partnerships.

Coordinate event coverage on the day of the shows as required.

Audience Engagement:

Implement strategies to engage and excite the target audience before, during, and after events.

Create interactive and immersive experiences to enhance attendee satisfaction while also addressing feedback and inquiries across social media platforms and other channels.


Ticket Sales Strategy:

Develop pricing strategies and promotions to drive ticket sales.

Implement effective online and offline ticketing solutions.


Partnerships and Sponsorships:

Develop comprehensive proposals for potential sponsors and partners, identify opportunities, and pitch to them to secure partnerships.

Establish partnerships with sponsors, brands, and relevant stakeholders to enhance promotional efforts and financial support.

Negotiate and manage sponsorship agreements.

Manage all sponsor and partner relationships, ensuring fulfillment of obligations and maximizing branding opportunities.


Venue Marketing:

Collaborate with venue partners to ensure effective joint marketing efforts.

Optimize venue-specific promotions to attract the local audience.


Digital and Social Media Marketing:

Leverage digital platforms and social media to create buzz, share behind-the-scenes content, and engage with the audience.

Utilize event-specific hashtags and online communities.

Lead the creation of innovative and impactful multi-channel campaigns (email, app, text, website, social, digital, SEO/SEM, blog, press releases, multi-media, OOH, performance marketing) to achieve business goals and fulfill sponsorship campaigns.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing and entertainment to ensure Flytime Promotions remains competitive and innovative.


Community Outreach:

Engage with local communities to build support and awareness for events.

Implement outreach programs to connect with diverse audience segments.

Event Branding:

Ensure brand alignment across all marketing materials and touchpoints.

Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and maintain comprehensive brand identities for Flytime Promotions and its sub-brands.

Collaborate with creative teams to develop strong visual identities for Flytime Promotions and its sub-brands.

Ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning of Flytime across all marketing channels and touchpoints, both internally and externally.

Manage the branding and execution of external events sponsored by Flytime, acting as the main point of contact.

Develop creative briefs and manage the coordination of marketing campaigns, including written, photo, video, and venue branding content.

Public Relations:

Manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry publications.

Coordinate press releases, interviews, and media coverage for events. Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

Implement CRM strategies to capture and analyze attendee data.

Use CRM insights to personalize marketing efforts and improve the overall attendee experience.

Post-Event Analysis:

Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of marketing strategies.

Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders for continuous improvement.

Emergency Communication Planning:

Develop contingency plans and communication strategies for unforeseen circumstances or emergencies during live events.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.


Others:

Oversee the marketing department including progress and performance to ensure assigned work is completed correctly, efficiently and on deadline and follow up on work results.

Main precise records and take accountability for all company brand assets and investments.

Supervise and manage all brand activations.

Facilitate internal communication processes to keep employees informed about company news, events, and initiatives.

Collaborate with HR to hire, onboard, and manage all marketing staff.

Lead the development of all marketing department requests from internal and external teams.

Manage the PR team and provide them with all necessary materials for press releases and media pitches.

Be the primary copywriter and editor, creating engaging and persuasive copy in different formats.

Ensure the organization of all Flytime media assets and files.

Line manages all third-party service providers and regulatory bodies for marketing and press/media.

Responsible for a full spectrum of marketing activities, including those detailed above and any others deemed necessary for company’s success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing and communications roles.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and analytics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with the Nigerian entertainment industry is a plus.

Hardworking with a positive and cooperative mindset.
